Parties terms and conditions


By booking a party you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.


Included in the price, all equipment, ingredients, aprons for use on the day, bag and a recipe for all children. Extras may be available on request.  



The requested deposit of 50% should be made at the time of reserving your booking by either cash or bank transfer.


The party balance is due 5 days prior to the party. We accept cash or bank transfer for final payment. We do not accept cheques . We have to apply this condition strictly so if we’re not paid on time then the party won’t be able to go ahead. Most people are wonderful and understand why this is necessary.


A final booking confirmation will be provided on receipt of final payment.


  The published rate for parties will be payable and is for the indicated set number of people. If you have less people attending the party, the full minimum booking price will still be payable. Additional children are by agreement with Kinder Cooking and are subject to an additional charge. Please note that each party will have a maximum number of children for health and safety reasons and we will not be able to exceed this maximum for any reason.


 We will email you 7 to 10 days before the party to get final numbers attending, bearing in mind the condition above.

This will form the final booking number, on which we prepare food and any party bags etc, therefore if less people actually attend on the day of the party the full minimum published price will be payable plus any original agreed number of going home gifts (published rate for each additional person attending a KINDER COOKING PARTY)  and the cost any extra people we had agreed were attending.

Cancellation of Parties


We request that 24 hours notice needs to be given to us if an additional child is ill or not attending and if we are not informed then you will need to pay for that child in full.  


In the event of illness or changed circumstances, we will look to rearrange the booking. Should however, this not be possible, we will refund 50% of deposits, provided you give us 7 days notice.

If you cancel  between 7 days and 36hours  of the party starting, the deposit will not be refunded, as this will cover, administration and compensation costs.

If a party is cancelled less than 36 hours before the party a cancellation fee of 75% of the full cost will be required. because for every booking we take, we incur costs. Our costs include the administrative work undertaken to process a booking, buying & preparation of sundries & ingredients, and we are very unlikely to be able to replace your booking with another event at this late stage.



Please note that any room/hall hire arrangements are not included in your arrangement with us and you will need to negotiate with the provider regarding cancellations.



We will always endeavour to e reach the venue and provide the party as agreed. However there may be exceptional circumstances eg, illness, adverse weather which prevent this.


 In the unlikely event we have to cancel a party, we will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative date within a reasonable period of time or a full refund will be given. This is the limit of our obligations




Changes to the party

If you want to make any changes to the contents of the party please give at least 5 days notice.


Going Home Gifts

At least half of any going home gifts will have to be paid for two weeks before the party if the cost is over £50.00.


Health and Safety

Sensible clothing and footwear are essential for our Kinder Cooking Parties.  Our parties are hands on and all participants are expected to be aware and act appropriately given the risks. Personal loss, injury, damage, neglect or involvement to or by you and any other course/party attendee will not be the liability of Kinder Cooking Ltd.


Special Dietary Health and Allergy Requirements

We will be happy to discuss party content with you to help you understand what is involved. If you or any party guests have allergies please let us know in advance and note you/they attend at your own risk. If we are not advised of any Allergies in advance and we have not therefore prepared the ingredients accordingly, anyone with an Allergy may need to be excluded from the event, for safety reasons.


If any child is affected by diabetes or epilepsy or any other issue/illness please let us know in advance and we will do our best to adapt, so that all the children can take part and have fun.


Any child who has suffered from sickness and diarrhoea within 48 hours of the party must not attend for health and safety reasons.
